REDEFINING THE FUTURE
by cultivating a
New Youth Culture
NCC believes in raising up and equipping the next generation of leaders, and New Youth Culture reflects that heart. This generation of young people have the opportunity to redefine the future and change their culture to look more like Jesus. NYC is devoted to equipping and training students for this purpose.
STUDENT DISCIPLESHIP 2018
Discipling Students to Disciple Students
For High School students looking to take on more responsibility in NYC and be challenged to grow to a new level in their walk with Christ.
New Youth Culture is all about transforming the lives of students to become life-long followers Christ’s. We realize that to do this we have to go against the grain and be different than the world that we live in.
We will cultivate a New Youth Culture by abiding by these beliefs:
We are Spirit Empowered
We are all about Relationship
We develop Leaders
We give More than the Minimum
Our team here at NCC believes in raising up and equipping the next generation of leaders, and creating a NEW YOUTH CULTURE is one of the greatest catalysts for students to grow and discover the new life and opportunities God has for them!
WHO WE ARE
WE ARE SPIRIT EMPOWERED
Above all else, we allow the spirit to strengthen us daily, because we know that we cannot accomplish God’s will within our own power.
WE ARE ALL ABOUT RELATIONSHIP
Students can find great speakers, shows, and talent anywhere. We’re committed to doing what others are not: building genuine relationships.
WE DEVELOP LEADERS
We will help students realize their potential as a spiritual and practical leader and give them opportunities to use those gifts in a real way.
WE GIVE MORE THAN THE MINIMUM
We refuse to settle for okay when better is always an option. We believe that excellence honors God.
Weekly at NYC
Each Service will consist of time to hang out and connect with other students, corporate worship, a biblical teaching, and small group discussions. Everything we do is focused on God’s word and connecting students to each other, leaders, and ultimately Jesus.
