SUNDAY, JULY 4th - NO NCC SERVICES
We will not have any NCC Services on July 4th 2021, because we will be practicing Sabbath together that day.
Sabbath has become a foundational part of NCC and how we want to live with God. This first week of July we take each year to 'reset' and change things up to help us better implement this practice.
Maybe you're familiar with Sabbath and this day helps you restart with it again.
Maybe you're brand new to Sabbath and this will help you get started right off the bat!
Scroll down to learn more about what Sabbath is all about.

In the beginning, God spent 6 days creating the world and on the 7th day he RESTED.
If God rested from his work, we ought to reflect that in our lives. That's what Sabbath is all about. God created us in his image and when we work ourselves at a pace that's different than what he intended for us, we're going to feel it!
At NCC, we encourage people to practice a weekly, 24 hour sabbath to participate in 4 things:
STOP WORK, ENJOY REST, PRACTICE DELIGHT, and CONTEMPLATE GOD.
We have a few resources below to help better explain what the Sabbath is all about.

“Sabbath isn’t a cold, arbitrary rule we have to obey.
It’s a life-giving art form that we get to practice."
